As a busy mom of 2 babies and a successful Realtor and ministry leader, it's so important that I remain present and calm in my daily life. By being present I choose to constantly be in prayer allowing God's Holy Spirit to guide me and counsel me. Making sure my thoughts are aligned with His and that I watch what I say and think. But what happens when you work from home... your children will seek your attention and you are needing to be focused. Which brings me to this...., YouTube for Children, let alone an iPad. There are so many times when I want to get my work done or my child cries for the iPad and I give it to her to later find out she is watching crazy skeleton Halloween things. For a 2 year old that is just not cool on my part. Even if we have parental control, she can still find channels that my husband and I disagree with. And did you know that what we put in front of our eyes, will directly impact the way we think... It's true. OUR EYES are a direct window into our soul. So if you are a mother who inspires to work from home, it is possible. But know that it will also be difficult.
You will need to put yourself on a strick but flexible schedule allowing your children to call upon you for their needs. But have a GAME PLAN, know what you want to achieve that day and week. Plan ahead and don't worry if you do not accomplish it all. And most importantly, stay present with your children, honoring their needs and yours too.
I hope this inspires you to achieve your dreams in your life!
Always Be Praying,
